Another New Year – Another New Start

Christmas Day has passed.  It’s New Year’s Eve and we’ve all decided to do things differently in 2018.  Making changes for better health requires developing new habits.  Behavior experts say that it takes about one month to form a new habit.  SparkPeople offers suggestions to help you stay on track with your New Year’s Resolutions.

Would you rather enjoy the company of your fellow parishioners in an exercise program?  Join us January 8, 2018, at 11 AM to begin ExerStart.

ExerStart is a 20-week, moderate-intensity exercise class designed to improve balance, flexibility, strength, and mobility for adults 50 years or older at any fitness level. The program focuses on moves specifically designed to help people live at home and continue to do the things they enjoy.

The programs begins with a warm-up, followed by aerobics, then a cool-down period.  Resistance bands help us to improve strength and flexibility while stationary exercises contribute to better balance and flexibility.  Come, join us!
