Gospel of Matthew:
Bible Video and Discussion Series

The Adult Faith Formation Group is sponsoring a continuation of the Bible video series: Matthew—A King and His Kingdom.  This an exciting study that explores the life and mission of Jesus as recorded in the Gospel. Matthew demonstrates how the promises and prophecies of the Old Testament are fulfilled in Christ, who establishes a New Law and inaugurates the Kingdom of Heaven on earth. Participants will see Jesus as the awaited Messiah who relives the life and struggles of Israel to become the faithful and victorious King. This study will help participants understand who Jesus is and what his life and teachings mean for us today.

Each video is followed by a question and discussion period.  We pick up our study with Chapter 20 of Matthew.  Sessions will be held in the Parish Cafe from 7:00-8:30 p.m. beginning Oct. 9th for six consecutive weeks.  It is not necessary to attend all sessions.  All are invited and feel free to bring a friend. There is no charge for this series, however an optional workbook is available for purchase.
