Fish Fry 2023 – Important information. Your response needed.

As we begin planning for Lenten Fish Fries, we need to pass along some important information to you and ask for your input, too. We want to be sure that we can host the Fish Fries well. So…here are a few things we want you to know, and a few things we need to know from you:

  • Due to supply chain issues and pricing, the menu may be a little different this year. That means we might not be able to offer all of the items, and the price may be higher. We are working diligently with our suppliers to minimize shortages and pricing issues. And we want everyone to know things may be different.

  • The other very important thing is that we cannot have fish fries if we do not have enough workers. We need workers: 1) to prepare the food, 2) to serve, 3) to wash dishes, 4) serve drinks and 5) to cover the dining room for all the hours we serve. Each year we have volunteers from prior years that want to “retire” and are looking for others to join the fun and volunteer.  If you are willing to work, please use the Signup Genius link below (or call the office at 636.946.6641 ext. 270) and let us know.

  • Please note, this Signup Genius is only for us to find out if we will have enough volunteers. By responding, you are not committing to work at this time. But we do need to know if you are willing to work.

What we do need to know is:

  • If you have a specific shift you can work, or if you are available for any shift.

  • What week(s) you are willing to work (over the six weeks).

  • If you have a specific area you usually work in or want to work, i.e. making slaw, dining room, etc.

  • If you are willing to volunteer for any shift in any area, then please let us know that too.

     And one last thing, please ask your friends or neighbors if they would like to join you and work. After all, we all know: “Volunteers have the most fun!”
