This year, we wanted to give back. I’m not sure about you, but we rarely have cash on us and when we see someone asking for help, we struggle with what to do. We want to get together with you and create care packages for unhoused individuals to have in our vehicles. We thought if each participant brings 10 pairs of thick socks and a bulk item, we can create enough packages to distribute in the community!

 

When:   Sunday, January 29th          3:00-5:00 PM

Where:  St. Peter Catholic Church Cafe

What:    A family affair where we will create the care packages, have some refreshments, and be joyful.

We will also have some notecards and colors to write notes for the packages. 

Here is a list of items needed:

Socks

Gloves

Small Water bottles

Bandages

Wet Wipes

Toothbrushes

Travel size Toothpaste, Sunscreen & Lotion

Nail Clippers

Hot Hands

Chap stick

Tuna & Cracker Packs

Single serve snacks like Trail Mix, nuts or beef jerky sticks (avoid things that are hard to chew)
