Lenten Bible Study Video Series Starts February 13th & 14th!
To assist us on our Lenten journey and to be better prepared for the Easter season, our parish is offering an 8-week video Bible Study entitled The Case for Jesus that answers the questions:
“Can we trust the Gospels? Do we really know who wrote them? Do the Gospels communicate truth – or fabricated fables? Who is Jesus? Who did Jesus claim to be?”
Dr. Brant Pitre is our presenter who draws evidence from both early Christian and non-Christian writings attesting to the authenticity, authorship, and dating of the Gospels, and as he gives an in-depth look at the Gospel accounts of Jesus’s Crucifixion, Resurrection, and the proclamation of Christ’s divinity.
The Lenten series will be held in the Parish Café from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. on eight (8) consecutive Mondays beginning February 13th and concluding on Monday, April 3rd. Each of the sessions will be repeated on the following Tuesdays in the Adult Faith Room from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m.
A student Study Guide will be available for each participant. For those who can afford it, we ask for a $10 donation to minimize our costs. To ensure that there are enough books available, you are asked to register for the video series using Sign-up Genius https://tinyurl.com/bdfz8e7d or by calling the parish office (636-946-6441).
This powerful presentation will strengthen your faith so you can stand firm and profess that Jesus truly is “the Christ, the Son of the living God,” and confidently respond to any skeptics you encounter. Jesus asked Peter. “Who do you say that I am?” Jesus asks the same of each one of us.
