Bible Study-Lectio: Acts of the Apostles & Evangelization begins September 11

Beginning Monday evening, September 11th and Tuesday afternoon, September 12th we will begin a 10-part video Bible Study. It will be led by Dr. Mary Healy, who combines an insightful biblical study with Church teaching and practical advice to show how modern Catholics can effectively impact the world for Jesus Christ.

        She explores topics such as the call of Jesus to evangelize, the power of the Sacraments, the role of charisms for building up the Body of Christ, techniques from St. Paul for reaching a secular culture, and more.

      Using the Lectio Divina approach of reading, reflecting, responding, and contemplating, the accompanying workbook presents classic artistry, penetrating questions, and personal reflection to take the teachings to a deeper level.

      Our Monday night sessions will be from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. and will be repeated at the Tuesday afternoon sessions from 1:00 pm to 2:30 session. You can choose each week as to which session works best for your schedule. A study guide is provided for each participant. Also, should you miss a session, all videos are available on Formed.org at no charge.
