Volunteers Needed for Emergency Warming Shelter

What:      Overnight shelter for the homeless

Where:    St. Peter Parish Center

When:     Weeks of December 1-7 and January 26-February 1 (Sun-Sat)

On nights when the temperature is expected to fall below 20 degrees, we will be “activated.” Volunteers for that day arrive at 8:00pm, and we stay until 7:00am, doing what we can to help our guests to be comfortable, and serving breakfast in the morning. Training will be provided.

We also need volunteers to help with laundry!
