The Parish Jesse Giving Tree will begin the weekend of November 17-18 and conclude December 8-9. The St. Vincent dePaul Society will be handling the requests as in past years and the gifts collected will be distributed with the Christmas food boxes. If you know of someone that may need Christmas assistance, please have them call the St. Vincent dePaul phone line at 636-757-9968 and someone will contact them.
The Jesse Giving Tree will be located in the chapel gathering space next weekend.
The tags on the tree are for gifts to families in need this Christmas season. All gifts must be purchased new with labels attached. When possible include gift receipts with clothing items. This year we have yellow stickers on the tags asking for gift cards which you can purchase from our Shop for St Peter program. Return all gifts to the Jesse Giving Tree located in the chapel gathering area. If you are interested in adopting an entire family, please contact Mary Boldt at 636-578-5501.
Please wrap the gifts in the SMALLEST boxes or bags possible and attach the gift tag to the package with ONE piece of scotch tape across the ribbon. Please DO NOT tape down the tags to the package.
Unfortunately, we cannot give used items for the project. However, the St. Vincent dePaul Thrift Store will be more than happy to accept your donated items.
We cannot thank you enough for your past generosity and we appreciate all you do for the poor, disabled, and elderly in our community who request Christmas assistance.
