Did you read the article in the St. Louis Review about a member of our St. Peter Parish? Rebeca Navarro-McKelvey is founder of the Garden of Innocents. In the Garden of Innocents, the remains of 27 unclaimed children have been buried in 10 years -- 27 potential mothers or fathers, 27 potential teachers or law-enforcement officers. ST. PETER MISSION TRIP—Come See What We Discovered in Nicaragua
THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 20TH, 7:00 P.M. PARISH CENTER
Our site visit to San Marcos was very informative and we are looking to share what we discovered there. We took a good number of pictures that are being put into a slide show. We are also looking for feedback and suggestions on what St. Peter parish can do to bring the face of Christ to our brothers and sisters in San Marcos. New Choir to Begin Rehearsals
Rehearsals for the New 9:45 a.m. Sunday Choir will begin Wednesday, Feb. 12, in the choir loft, 7:00 p.m. The New Choir will sing the 9:45 a.m. Sunday Mass every 3rd Sunday of the month beginning Feb. 16, and rehearse the previous Wednesday of that week. We are accepting men and women who want to have fun singing while serving the Lord and their parish. Beginners and experienced members who can match pitch are welcome. The director is Bob Schleinat who is currently the organist at our 5:00 p.m. Saturday Mass and has thirty years experience directing church choirs.

Don Moxley is working to put together a “core” group; 5 or 6 individuals to work with him to design a disaster plan and to organize teams that will be activated when, not if, a major disaster/emergency occurs. To help this core group we would like to initially identify people who may possess important skills that we can call upon to be members of specific teams.
