Perpetual Help Devotions time change

This coming week, there will be a bit of change to the scheduling of Perpetual Help devotions on Tuesday evening. I know there is a dedicated group that attends this Marian devotional, yet I also have to take advantage of the times available by our extremely generous deacons who have led it over the years. Join the St. Anne Sodality "Field Trip"

Our September meeting on September 22nd will be a Sodality sponsored bus trip to St. Louis.  We will meet at 8:30am at the Lewis & Clark Museum parking lot. Our first stop will be the Old Cathedral where we will have a tour led by Msgr. Jerry Billing. Our next stop will be Ballpark Village. Our tour there will be about 45 minutes, allowing time for lunch and/or a museum tour.  Lunch will be on your own at one of the many restaurants, the cost of the museum will be $9.00, also on your own. Do you sew? Or able to cut fabric?

We are looking for ladies to sew for charity.  All beautiful fabric is furnished. Items we make are donated to Birthright, nursing homes, Our Ladies Inn, Foster Program, shelters for the homeless, Haiti and many more. We have more requests for items than we can handle. Parish Center Parking

Over the past years, it’s always been something of a dilemma operating across the street from the front doors of a major hospital, as well as near a mecca for Missouri tourism, St. Charles Main Street.  I’m pleased we have a wonderful health center like St. Joseph’s, I’m also very proud of the advancements that St. Charles has made on Main Street.  But it’s also a predicament when regular parish activities that allow us to function as parish are compromised.   For quite a few years we have leased out a part of the parish center lot to the ...
