PARISH MISSION THIS WEEK!

Date: October 1-5, 2017 Time: 7pm Sunday and 7pm & 9am Monday—Thursday Where: St. Peter Church Father Robert M. Cary, CSP, is a mission preacher based in Chicago. For more than 25 years, he has been known for his clear, concise and enlightening preaching and teaching. Fr. Bob's mission theme will be "Give Your Faith Away." Come and listen either Sunday-Thursday evenings at 7:00 pm or Monday-Thursday mornings at 9:00 am. We look forward to strengthening our Catholic faith with our parish mission.

Healthy People, Healthy Parish New Name, New Mission To serve the Church by improving the health of the parish – one person at a time. Healthy Parish 2020 has been in operation for over a year now and it’s time for a few changes. Over the past year, we have engaged in exercise, prayer, nutrition management, and end-of-life planning.  And there’s more to come in this next year. K of C Sausage Dinner - Sept. 19th

Our Knights of Columbus Council 823 will host a sausage dinner on Tuesday September 19th. Serving time 6 - 7 pm at 20 Westbury Dr., St. Charles. Cost $8.00 per person. Last Call for your plastic caps / lids & aluminum cans!!! 5th Grade Girls Community Service Project Thanks to your help, the girls are in reach of their goal to collect 400 lbs of plastic caps and lids to be recycled into a park bench.  They will host their final collection after all masses on Sunday, September 24 (please give to one of the girls or adult volunteers – do not leave unattended at church).  As a reminder, the goal of their project (in addition to creating a new park bench) was to keep the plastic caps and lids from falling through the cracks of the recycling equipment and ending...

That Man is You (TMIY) program

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton (SEAS) is extending an invitation to the men of St. Peter to attend its That Man is You (TMIY ) program beginning Saturday, September 9th. TMIY is an international Catholic Men's men's spiritual formation program which SEAS has been successfully running for the past two years.  The program is free, runs for 13 weeks each Saturday from 6:30-8:00 AM and includes breakfast, a video and small group discussion.  For more information, contact Michael Lamb, 636-564-7579.

The Miracle of the Sun at Fatima Portugal will have its 100th anniversary this upcoming October 13th.  Since this day falls on a Friday, we will celebrate the miracle on Saturday, October 14th so that working folks will have the opportunity to come together with us to thank God the Father for His kindness and sending our Blessed Mother to us with the message of hope and relief. We will pray the Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary at 12:00 midday, on the little plaza in front of our church.
