Holy week is the most powerful and prayerful week we live as Catholic Christians. We journey alongside Jesus and his Apostles, from the Last Supper to the Garden of Gethsemane, his arrest, crucifixion, and ultimate sacrifice. It culminates in the Easter Vigil, symbolizing the joy of the empty tomb and welcoming new members into the faith. We invite everyone to join us in these deeply moving and beautiful liturgies, honoring and celebrating these pivotal moments in Christian history.

Tenebrae is where we break open the Liturgy of the Word with readings from sacred scripture and sacred music to prepare for the events of the Holy Triduum. The church is gradually darkened until the silence at the end is broken by a loud crash, symbolizing the earthquake at Christ’s death.
