Archbishop Carlson has granted general permission to resume public Masses beginning Monday, May 18.
Archbishop Robert Carlson has announced that parishes in the Archdiocese of St. Louis are permitted to begin resuming public Masses on Monday, May 18, at the discretion of each individual parish pastor.
The collaboration with the archdiocesan Presbyteral Council, the Missouri bishops and civil authorities will continue through May 18 and beyond, with decisions subject to change based on any new data from health officials.
Although we are joyful that we will be able to gather as parish communities once again, certain safety precautions, in keeping with regulations from health and government officials regarding COVID-19, must be in place in order for each parish to resume public Masses.
