Who Are We?
- We are your fellow St. Peter parishioners who work with and help those who are less fortunate.
- Who do we work with? Any St. Peter Church parishioners regardless of where they live in the general area, and anyone in our parish boundary regardless of religious affiliation.
- What does our St. Vincent de Paul Conference do?
- We help pay utility bills.
- We help pay rents.
- We help pay prescription costs.
- We locate other resources to help pay rents and utilities.
- We operate an emergency food pantry.
- We prepare and serve lunch and supper weekdays at the Salvation Army Soup Kitchen every Thursday.
- We distribute food baskets and gifts at Christmas.
- What is involved? We meet the 2nd Monday evening of each month in the Adult Faith room. The meetings are short except when major items are discussed. All business of the meeting is strictly confidential. We open and close the meetings with prayer.
- There are no dues except what one wishes to donate. Our funds come from fellow parishioners and others who believe in what we do.
