Parish Staff

	Fr. James Theby Pastor jtheby@stpstc.org 636-946-6641 ext. 2240 Fr. Jim Theby was ordained a priest in 2008. He was previously an associate pastor at Assumption in O'Fallon and St. Clare of Assisi in Ellisville before serving as pastor of Our Lady of Lourdes in Washington for the past nine years. He grew up the oldest of four in Chesterfield and attended Incarnate Word elementary school and DeSmet Jesuit High School before seminary.
	Fr. Christopher Schroeder Senior Associate Pastor cschroeder@stpstc.org 636-946-6641 ext. 2220 Fr. Chris Schroeder, formerly associate pastor of St. Justin Martyr Parish in Sunset Hills, joined our parish in August of 2023.
	Fr. George Staley Part-time Senior Associate Pastor. gstaley@stpstc.org 636-946-6641 ext. 2228 Fr. George Staley, formerly associate pastor of St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Oakville, joined our parish in August of 2023. He also serves as part-time priest-chaplain for the Newman Center at Lindenwood University in St. Charles.
	Deacon Larry Boldt Pastoral Associate LBoldt@stpstc.org 636-946-6641 ext. 2212 Deacon Larry was ordained June 5, 2010 by Archbishop Carlson and assigned to St. Peter Church. He and his wife Mary moved to St. Charles county in 1980 and before being assigned to St. Peter they have been parishioners at All Saints in St. Peter and St. Cletus in St. Charles. Deacon Larry serves the parish by assisting at Mass, conducting Perpetual Help Devotions, directing the parish RCIA parish process, and much more. In addition to his church ministry, Deacon Larry retired from Orasi Software as a sales and marketing executive. Deacon Larry and his wife Mary have two grown daughters and five grandchildren.

	Alison Beach Early Learning Center Director ABeach@stpstc.org 636-946-6641 ext. 1162 Alison is from Topeka, Kansas where she graduated from Topeka West High School. She graduated from Drury University in Springfield Missouri in 2015 with a Bachelors in Psychology with an emphasis in child advocacy. Mrs. Beach enjoys going on adventures with her family in her free time.
	Kate Winker Director of Music Ministry kwinker@stpstc.org Kate is delighted to join St. Peter parish as the new Director of Music Ministry. She has previously been a Catholic elementary music teacher, a full-time parish music director and substitute organist, and has been a professional chorister and liturgical music administrative assistant at the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle in Washington, DC. In addition to working at St. Peter’s, she teaches private piano, voice, and composition lessons, and volunteers as a room parent at her children’s school. She and her husband have three beautiful children.
	Mary Lorenz Parish Business Manager mlorenz@stpstc.org Mary has been a member of this parish since 1967 when her parents moved to St. Charles until 1983 when she moved to California. She returned in 1995. She has a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and Masters Degree in Global Management. She has served on Parish Council, Home and School, School Board, Liturgy Committee, as well as the Annual Catholic Appeal and the PSR School Board. She serves as a lector, Eucharistic Minister, choir member and has traveled to Nicaragua with our Mission Group. Mary has three grown children, all St Peter alumni and one grandson.
	Karen Hortenstine Administrative Assistant khortenstine@stpstc.org 636-946-6641 ext. 2201 Karen Hortenstine joined the parish offices at St Charles Borromeo and St Peter as an Administrative Assistant. Karen is a typical St. Louisan, having graduated from Cor Jesu Academy. Karen and her husband, and four children, belong to St. Monica parish where their four children also attend school. Her favorite color is violet and my favorite prayer is “Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place my trust in you”.

	Peggy Oleson Administrative Assistant poleson@stpstc.org Peggy and her family are long time members of St. Peter Parish. She is a St. Peter/Duchesne alum along with her children. She joined the office staff as Administrative Assistant in 2014. Her and her husband have been married for 33 years.
	Ellie Roche Bilingual Administrative Assistant eroche@stpstc.org 636-946-1893 Ext. 111 Ellie Roche was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She is a cradle Catholic who loves to serve the Lord and His children. Her and her husband have been married for 13 years and they have four beautiful children. She is a teacher in the Parish School of Religion (PSR) at All Saints as a Special Needs Catechist. Her family belongs to All Saints Catholic Church in St. Peters where she is continually active in multiple ministries.
